Back to Cambridge, ON

It was an amazing experience, I’ll remember all my life. But I’m glad to be back home, I miss my loved wife a lot, and all of you my dear “amigos” from GRT.

Preparing to drive the Coach bus to Pemberton

It was wonderful driving the buses at BC Transit, and all the drivers, dispachers and supervisors there was very friend and supportive,

John and I at the Peak-to-Peak with a inukshuk

but we have better work conditions tanks to our strong Union here at GRT, like 20 or 30 min. break every 5 1/2 hours (I had one of my shifts with 10 hours without break!!!).  or our payed 15 min. of pre-trip inspection.

I worked hard, as you can see at the pictures below…

At the Mountain Retreat Hotel's swimming pool.

At the Hotel's hot-tub

I was surprised to met a lot of people there from Ontario, even from Kitchener and Cambridge. I even met a group of 5 people from Brazil, they lend me a Brazilian flag to take this picture.

I tank you all here for you kind support and cheering for our sucsses in driving at the Olympics.

Now it is time to come back home.

A scupture at Vancouver Airport

We did our best there to be your ambassador and to honor GRT Transit. I believe we did a great job.

Again thank to all of you here at GRT.

Leaving the Mountain Retreat Hotel's lobby, comming back to Cambridge.
